BSKT captures the evolution of a visual language that emerged from the early Solana art scene. The series unfolds through a collection of moments that seem independent yet quietly echo one another — fragments of daily life where humor, absurdity, and introspection coexist. Built around the distinctive BSKT palette — a limited range of colors that intentionally breaks from realism — these works create a surreal sense of familiarity. Anthropomorphic figures inhabit diners, bedrooms, studios, and street corners, turning ordinary settings into dreamlike spaces. The result is a portrait of everyday life seen through a lens that is both playful and detached, detailed yet subtly emotional. Influenced by pop culture, 1990s animation, concert posters, skate graphics, and architectural drawing, BSKT connects nostalgia with digital experimentation. Some of its frames also intersect with the broader Basket project, expanding the dialogue between sound and image. Released as NFTs on Solana in 2022, the series was collected worldwide, marking a defining moment in the platform’s early art movement. Beyond its digital origins, BSKT remains a study of transformation — where the ordinary becomes strange, and the strange feels unmistakably human.
